Ever since I was a kid, I have entertained myself with daydreams. I daydream very vividly, and when I get a good one going, I can hang out alone for hours simply enjoying it. As I got older, and my daydreams became even more elaborate and more focused, I decided they were more entertaining than many of the books I read and movies I saw. I also decided that if I wanted to share those stories with other people, I had better learn to be a good writer. It is still a pleasurable rush for me to take my daydreams and shape them into novels. I’ve also received inspiration from other good books I’ve enjoyed, and from my wife who encourages me.
